Marketing in the Digital Age.
The marketing concentration provides MBA students with a broad-based education in what it means for an organization to be truly marketdriven and to create value for its customers. The hands-on skills students acquire in strategic brand management and other areas may be used in a variety of business settings.
Class projects involve students in making decisions about product development, pricing, promotion, marketing research, sales compensation, cost containment and production scheduling. Students may take courses that cover advertising, marketing management, service quality, market research, marketing strategy and international marketing.
Keeping in line with the MBA program, the marketing concentration has an experiential focus that gives students opportunities to work with real companies who have real problems and need real solutions. The curriculum supports preparation for the Professional Certified Marketerâ„¢ exam offered by the American Marketing Association. An M.S. in Marketing is also offered.
