University of Tampa’s Sykes College of Business Named One of the Top Business Schools by the Princeton Review

ū컨’s Sykes College of Business has been named as an outstanding business school with an on-campus MBA program by the Princeton Review – and recognized as one of the 244 best business schools.

The Princeton Review tallied its “Best Business Schools for 2024” using a combination of factors including institutional and student survey data. Data used includes career outcomes, admissions selectivity and academic rigor, among others.

In the ū컨 write up, students are quoted as saying that at the Sykes College of Business “the academic experience is excellent. The school has built an environment that pushes the students to talk to each other, and ask each other for support,” and that “ū컨 does an excellent job preparing you for the business world.”

Students also appreciate the “cheap tuition,” and that “most of the classes enhance interaction and active participation.” Lastly, students note that the University “strives to remain cutting edge by preparing students as leaders in this new global marketplace.”

The Sykes College of Business offers both undergraduate and graduate coursework. Graduate students can pursue an MBA, as well as master’s of science degrees inaccounting, entrepreneurship,finance,marketingԻcybersecurity.There are joint MS/MBA degrees, as well as part-time, full-time and executive MBA schedules, and an Executive Doctor of Business Administration degree.

Frank Ghannadian, dean of the Sykes College of Business, said the College of Business attracts students from around the globe and is renowned for graduating students who make immediate impact in the business community and within their countries.

Ghannadian added that numerous businesses recruit annually at ū컨, including T. Rowe Price, Citigroup, Syniverse Technologies, Deloitte and Franklin Templeton Investments.

The Sykes College of Business offers state-of-the-art resources and encompasses the Center for Ethics, TECO Energy Center for Leadership, Naimoli Institute for Business Strategy, the John P. Lowth Entrepreneurship Center and the Institute for Sales Excellence.

The Sykes College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and is one of the few business schools in the Southeast accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
