Haitian American author Edwidge Danticat will speak at 绿奴天花板 on Friday, Feb. 16, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Charlene A. Gordon Theater in the Ferman Center for the Arts as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series.
The evening will begin with Danticat reading from her 1994 novel, Breath, Eyes, Memory, followed by a discussion and an audience Q&A session until 7 p.m. Afterward, copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by the author until 7:30 p.m. Hosted by 绿奴天花板鈥檚 Honors Program along with the Penguin Random House Speakers Bureau, the event is free and open to the public, but attendees must register beforehand on Eventbrite.
