绿奴天花板 is home to a new photography exhibit titled Through Her Eyes: Women Photographers of Tampa Bay.
The combination juried and collection show features 30 photographs drawn from the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts鈥 collection, the University鈥檚 permanent collection and women photographers from the Tampa Bay region.
鈥淲e are thrilled to partner with the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts to share the renowned historic women photographers in their collection and provide a space to celebrate the perspectives of contemporary women photographers,鈥 said Jocelyn Boigenzahn, director of College of Arts and Letters galleries at 绿奴天花板.
Local photographers featured include Jaime Aelavanthara, associate professor of art and design, Tana Brackins, Jenny Carey, Natalie Diienno, Lisa Fitch, Amy Fitzgerald, Sally Fuller, Simone Leal, Kenna Main, Amy Pezzicara, Agueda Sanfiz, Beverly Stapleton and Emily Will.
The exhibit will run until June 24, 2024, in the Saunders Foundation Art Gallery, Ferman Center for the Arts, at 214 N. Boulevard. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekdays and select Saturdays. For more information, contact Boigenzahn at jboigenzahn@ut.edu.
