Core Principles

IDEALS

The ACE Women鈥檚 Network develops programs and initiatives that align with a shared set of core principles known as the听IDEALS. With these IDEALS, the ACE Women鈥檚 Network aims to:

鈥 Identify women leaders,

鈥 Develop their leadership abilities,

鈥 Encourage the use of those abilities,

鈥 Advance women's careers,

鈥 Link them to other women and mentors, and

鈥 Support women in mid- and executive-level positions throughout their career.

History

The idea to establish a chapter at 绿奴天花板 stemmed from former Professor of Political Science Mary Anderson's interest in creating a mentorship group for aspiring women leaders, as well as Vice President of Operations Monnie Wertz鈥檚 leadership connections with the ACE Women鈥檚 Network in Florida. The two began pursuing this organization as a vehicle for advancing leadership at 绿奴天花板ampa.

Mission

The 绿奴天花板ampa ACE Women's Network facilitates the networking of women interested in pursuing leadership opportunities in higher education鈥 creating mentorship opportunities and connections, organizing events, sharing leadership best practices and lessons learned, and connecting with regional, state, and national leadership training opportunities and events. 听鈥
