绿奴天花板鈥檚听major in cybersecurity听is a cutting-edge program that teaches students to protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information and information systems that support modern organizations. Students receive a comprehensive education that focuses on both the fundamentals of information systems as well as advanced topics in areas such as network security, cryptography, risk management, security governance, business continuity, security architecture, physical security and critical infrastructures. A听minor in cybersecurity听and a听master's in cybersecurity听are also offered.听
Graduates will have an understanding of the topics, terms and principles contained in the eight domains of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Common Body of Knowledge. The CISSP is the leading professional certification in the cybersecurity field, which requires mastery of several domains. The program-level outcome is to ensure that students have an understanding of the knowledge contained in the following domains:

- Identity and Access Management
- Security Assessment and Testing

Security Certifications
A key feature of 绿奴天花板鈥檚 cybersecurity major is that it prepares students for professional听security certifications听and designations, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) exam. The program also gives students extensive hands-on experience using industry-standard tools in a modern cybersecurity lab.

Cybersecurity Lab
The new cybersecurity lab is a state-of-the-art facility where students have access to the latest advances in technology. The lab provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with firewalls, servers or setting up virtual machines on one of the 60 workstations. All devices are segregated on a separate network, so students can perform ethical hacking in a safe environment. Read the听Lab Policy and Acceptable Use.
