ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°å offers housing to new full-time graduate students (enrolled in at least 8 credit hours each semester). A $500 admissions deposit is required prior to submitting a housing application. Students who initially paid the $300 deposit can pay the remaining $200 by emailingÌýgrad@ut.edu. More information is available on yourÌýÌýportal. After the housing deposit is paid, the application will be available inÌýResidence by Symplicity.
Please be sure to answer all housing application questions. The Office of Residence Life uses this information to make room assignments. The University aims to accommodate new students with on-campus housing. Once availability reaches capacity, campus housing is accommodated via our 20-year partner, The Barrymore Hotel. Space is limited, and new students are assigned based on their completed housing application date.
Room assignments are sent in mid-July for the fall semester and the third week of December for the spring semester. After assignments are made, students will not be able to make changes until the open room change period after the third week of the semester. The University reserves the right to change or cancel a room assignment if it is found to be in the best interest of the student or the University.
Any student needing accommodations related to University housing or meal plan options should submit their housing accommodation requests and supporting documentation via anÌýÌýby the housing deadlines. Any questions concerning documentation requirements should be directed to the associate director of Student Accessibility and Academic Support atÌýaccessibility.services@ut.eduÌýor (813) 257-3266.
Students interested in being roommates must mutually request each other on their housing applications by May 1. Due to the volume of housing requests, requested roommates are not guaranteed. Fall applicants may request onlyÌýone or twoÌýprospective roommates. Roommate requests are unavailable for spring applicants.
