The table below is in reference to the standard cost of attendance (COA), which is the total amount it should cost the student to go to school, including tuition and fees, room and board, allowances for books and supplies, transportation, personal and incidental expenses, and loan fees. These costs are considered by the Financial Aid Office when determining eligibility for students who are seeking additional financial assistance.Ìý

*Scholarship is applied to tuition. Students pay book costs.

**Tuition rates are established by the University and are subject to change in future academic years. The scholarship remains at 50%.ÌýPlease note in addition to costs outlined above, students are required to purchase a parking permit (full academic year = $55).

Financial Aid

To be eligible for federal financial aid in the Graduate Nonprofit Management program, students enroll in at least two credit hours per semester. Graduate Nonprofit Management students taking at least three credit hours per semester are considered full time.ÌýLearn more about applying for financial aid and types of aid available.

Scholarship Requirements for the Certificate in Nonprofit Management

We are now accepting applications for the May cohort scholarship.

The Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay awards a limited number of scholarships each year for qualified candidates. The award amount equals half the cost of tuition.

The application for our competitive nonprofit management scholarship is completed during theÌýapplication for admissionÌýprocess. The application deadline is March 1 for the May term. Recipients will be notified by approximately April 1.

Student Eligibility Requirements

The Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay awards a limited number of scholarships each year for qualified candidates.

To be eligible for the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay Scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Gain admission to the program. All application materials must be sent to ÂÌÅ«Ì컨°å's Office of Graduate and Continuing Studies. Preference will be given to students with nonprofit management experience and potential to serve in leadership roles in the future.
2. Have significant nonprofit/governmental organization (NP/NGO) experience, demonstrated by:
   1. A minimum of two years of full-time NP/NGO employment, or
   2. At least three years of continuous volunteer leadership with an NP/NGO
3. Demonstrate a commitment to working within the Tampa Bay nonprofit sector for at least five years (beginning from the date of acceptance into the certificate program).

Requirements of Scholarship Recipients

In order to meet the goals of the program, scholarship recipients will be required to meet the following obligations:

• Participate in and fulfill all obligations associated with the certificate program course requirements.
• Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA.
• At the conclusion of the certificate program, reaffirm a commitment to maintaining or pursuing a social sector career in the Tampa Bay area.
• If needed, represent the Sykes College of Business and/or the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay to prospective students, alumni and other interested parties through events, publications and informal channels to increase awareness of the program.

If at any time between acceptance of the scholarship and graduation recipients do not fulfill all of the above obligations, they will forfeit their eligibility and any remaining tuition will be the student's responsibility.
